Who am I?

I am a sole trader who provides circus skills/juggling workshops and services for schools, fetes, festivals and other events throughout the North of England. My website will give you an idea of who I am and what I offer.

When do I collect personal data?

  • When you make a booking.

  • Message/contact me by twitter, email, mobile or my website.

  • When you contact me to make an enquiry.

  • When you comment/feedback on my workshops

What types of data do I collect?

  • For bookings: Name, address, email, telephone and mobile numbers.

  • Messages/comments related to bookings, enquiries or feedback after a workshop.

  • Payment information (e.g Method of payment, fee, invoice).

  • Twitter handle, if you interact with me through twitter.

How I use your personal data?

  • Perform any workshop/contract I've agreed with you. I need this to provide any agreed services and comply with legal obligations.

  • Respond to any queries or requests. i may keep these to inform/guide any future communications with you.

  • With your consent, I will use your personal data to keep you informed by email, web, text, telephone about any relevant services which may interest you.

You are free, at any time, to opt out of hearing from me by any of the above means already mentioned above.

How I will protect your data?

I will treat your data with the utmost care and responsibility. My laptop is password protected, as is my mobile.

How long will I keep your personal data?

​

I keep a record of all bookings, correspondence and invoices. This provides a source of information, to use, to contact past clients to be kept in mind for any future events.  

​

HMRC requires me to keep records of payments and invoices for at least 5 years after the 31 January submission deadline of the relevant tax year.

​

I will not share/process your information outside of the UK.

​

Your rights over personal data

​

You have the right to request:

​

  • access to personal data I hold about you (usually for free).

  • correct personal data when required.

  • unsubscribe from any direct mailings.

  • the right of deletion when you request or once the purpose for holding the data has come to an end.

You can use email or my contact portal on my website to action any of the above. If I decide to refuse your request I will explain the reason for my refusal.
